Configure email notifications

Email addresses can be configured to which notifications, alerts, and reports are sent.

About this task

You can configure a single email address for all notification instances, or you can use different email addresses for different notifications on different storage systems.

To set up email notifications:

Steps

  1. Select Settings icon.
  2. Click Alerts > Notifications.
  3. In the Email section, click Configure.
  4. In the Recipients section, click Create.
  5. Specify the following details:
    1. Type an Email Address.
    2. Select one or more of the following checkboxes: System Notifications, Performance Notifications, Reports, or Job Notifications.
    3. To test the email address, click Test.
  6. Click OK.
